Happy end of furlough

Most of our regular readers know me in real life, so they know that my library system has been closed for the past week. We had a mandatory furlough as a cost-saving measure (which means we each took a 2% pay cut). I hope it prevents layoffs. My fear is that it won’t.

We decided to take a little 5-day trip during the furlough. I turned to the Internet and searched for a cabin somewhere pretty at a price we could afford. The Internet delivered. Here’s what it looked like. We got back yesterday. I’ll write more about it soon, I promise.
